Quite a prolific company, but nowhere near as good as any of the big 3 companies (Acornsoft, Superior, Micro Power) they never really had any classic games, but had consistently good ones. I'm not sure what happened to them, because it seems as if they were only around during the early 80's, perhaps they were a victim of the computer market crash? The did one compilation, Smash 7, and it included Gunsmoke, Street Machine, Spooks And Spiders, 3D Bomb Alley, Eagles Wing, Vortex and Alpha Centauri.
Please contact me if you have any additional information about the company or its games!

A nice little platform game, with good graphics and some fluid gameplay. It is hardly a classic but will provide you with a bit of fun to pass the time with. Probably one of the better games, it is more playable than most platform games.

This game is extremely boring, probably one of the worst on the BBC. You are a miner, and have to go around the level collecting nuggets, whilst dodging the mine carts. It is all very nicely presented, but is spoilt by being slow, and unimaginative.

At last, an original variant of Asteroids, in this you are in the standard Asteroids scenario, but this time there is a maze all around you, with loads of baddies, and you have to control your ship, whilst shooting the baddies and traversing the maze. It is very difficult and the ship moves extremely realisticly. The graphics are medium res, and well done on the whole.

Licensed from a magazine, I think this is quite good, if a bit hard. They have got the graphics down nicely, the only problem being that the car is way to uncontrollable at higher speeds.

A pool game with a difference, this one challenges you to pot all six balls in a specified number of shots. I think this is a great idea, and it works well, unfortunately it doesn't have a 2 player mode. An interesting feature is a saved high score table, which writes your highest scores to disk, as most things do now.

This for me is their best game, with great graphics, in a nice high-res black and white mode. You are in a space ship spiralling out of control towards the vortex, and all the time the ship is speeding up, making it harder to react to things all the time. I love this game, with its two sections, 1. the section where you shoot up as many aliens as possible, all of which look like TIE fighters from star wars! 2. You must dodge the huge asteroids which come smashing towards you, hitting one is deadly. This is the one to play.
